About Volunteer Circle

It Started With One Small Idea

Volunteer Circle was founded by Travyn, who spent holidays volunteering - making blankets, building shoes, decorating care bags and writing cards for seniors and children in need. Each project was different, but the feeling was always the same: joy, connection, and community.

In 2022, that tradition grew into something more.
Inspired by neighbors and friends who joined him year after year, we formalized Volunteer Circle, a space to bring people together through kindness, one idea at a time. Since then we have created multiple events focused on mostly seniors but also foster children.

Our first national campaign, Hearts for Seniors, carries that same spirit forward.
We have done Hearts for Seniors for over two years and what began as one kid’s idea to do something kind has become a shared effort to create moments of care and belonging across communities.

What We're About

Our Mission

 Our Why

To create moments of connection, shared purpose, and belonging.

We believe small acts of care can bridge generations, spark empathy and remind us that we’re all part of something bigger.

What We Do

We bring people together through service projects that build connection, locally and beyond.

Each project starts as a simple act of care like writing cards, organizing a drive or raising funds, which grows into a shared experience of purpose and community.

How We Do It

Through circles, which are student-led, community-based and connected across regions.

Each circle leads its own project while staying linked to others who share the same goal: turning care into collective action that reaches further together.
